The day of LOVE
On Valentines day, students across the United States bring empty boxes to school with hopes of filling it with sweet cards and even sweeter treats. I’m not quite sure that the day focuses on “love” and “appreciation” anymore. In my opinion, Valentines day is that one day that all the healthy school rules go out the window and kids get to eat candy until their belly aches. Continue reading
Just Wing It
Going into this role I felt that I had a clear understanding of teaching. After all, I did take ONE required teaching methods class in college. As I began creating lesson plans I felt unprepared. My name is Lauren Allbritton (not that I am British at all) and I am a recent transplant from Arkansas. I just graduated from University of Central Arkansas where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
