Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 every year. A few years ago, my groceries were bagged in an “Earth Day” decorated paper grocery bag. Local school children had decorated the bags and given them to local groceries stores to use to commemorate Earth Day. I have kept that bag and have reused it many, many times. Here is a picture of it.
It has a few tears in it, as it has been recycled by me at the grocery store many times. I am anxiously waiting for Covid 19 restrictions to be lifted so I can reuse my own bags at the grocery store again. Every time I have used this paper bag, it makes me smile. It is a reminder that it is up to each one of us to help save our Earth and its resources for future generations. Let’s make every day Earth Day, and help Make the Earth Happy!
