Cici Mueller was recently honored with the “Friend of Extension Award” at the ISU Extension and Outreach annual conference in Ames. Mueller has been a volunteer for over fifteen years through her work with the Master Gardener program, the Postville 4-H garden club, Postville’s Food and Fitness 4-H clubs, coordinating the regional FEEST teams, and being a judge at local county fairs for horticulture and 4-H food competition.
SCHOOL WELLNESS – FoodCorps and AmeriCorps Service members
With the nice weather and school coming to an end in May, kids have definitely started to get spring fever. Many teachers are noticing their students are having trouble focusing during the day. This month, Shelby wanted to do an activity with the kids that would help them re-focus their thoughts. She found a story online that incorporated Star Wars and Yoga!
