Farm Film Festival, April 13-23

The Winneshiek Energy District and Seed Savers Exchange are hosting a cooperative, two-week-long film festival from April 13 through April 23.

 

Up! Up! Film Festival is a collection of 14 independently produced films and shorts, each exploring questions of farmland access, rural livelihoods and the sustainability of people and place. The fest is being organized by a group a volunteers from Seed Savers, Green Iowa Americorps, Northeast Iowa Food and Fitness Initiative and Luther College.

 

The festival is curated by The Greenhorns, a national nonprofit that supports beginning farmers in America.
