I’m working on my end of the year reporting for the grants that I wrote and received for my schools. I totaled the numbers and I raised $36,824 for my three school districts! If you’re interested, here’s the breakdown of the grants.
Food and Fitness School Project Grant for Howard-Winneshiek: $2,000
Food and Fitness School Project Grant for North Fayette: $950
Fuel Up to Play 60 for North Fayette: $3,190
Fuel Up to Play 60 for West Central: $4,000
Fuel Up to Play 60 for Crestwood High School: $2,029
Fuel Up to Play 60 for Crestwood Elementary/Jr. High School: $2,500
Fayette County Community Foundation Grant: $6,105
Subaru Healthy Sprouts Award: $500
Whole Kids Foundation Garden Grants: $4,000
Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship’s A Garden is the Way to Grow Grants: $1,550
Walmart Foundation’s Healthy Living Youth Grants to support Youth Voice: Youth Choice in partnership with Fuel Up to Play 60 for Howard-Winneshiek: $2,000
Northeast Iowa Food and Farm Coalition Mini Grant (this one I didn’t write, but I helped coordinate): $500
Alliance Pipeline Community Investment Program: $7,500
Needless to say, I’m way in over my head with grant reporting! It takes so much organization and the funds are so hard to keep track of at the schools! Nonetheless, I’m really excited and proud that I was able to help my schools obtain money to support their environmental and wellness programs!
